Property Taxes

Various Vigo County offices coordinate the assessment and payment of property taxes.  Taxes are due and payable in two (2) equal installments on or before May 10 and November 10.

County Auditor
All county financial records are kept by the county auditor.  The auditor calculates tax rates based on assessed value and budget needs and processes property tax refunds.
