Professional Profile
Vicki joined the Vigo County Council in 2017. She serves on the Solid Waste Board, which recycles millions of tons of local waste from our community into usable products to help save our planet. She is on the E-911 Board, serving emergency workers, to protect their lives & make our county safer. Vicki has worked as a TV & print journalist more than 40 years. In 2013, she was inducted into the Pioneer Broadcast Hall of Fame by Joe Angotti, Executive Producer of Tom Brokaw’s NBC Nightly News, after covering stories in Europe, Africa, Asia & the U.S. She retired & returned to her hometown in 2014.
