Event Description:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice according to Ind. Code § 5-3-1-2 (b) is hereby given that the Vigo County Council is scheduling a “public hearing” as that term is used in Ind. Code § 6-9-48-4 (a) for Monday, July 2^nd, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Vigo County Council Chambers located within the Vigo County Annex.  The Vigo County Annex is located at 121 Oak Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807.  Please plan to park and enter the building from the North parking lot.  The potential adoption of an ordinance to impose a county food and beverage tax will be the only substantive issue of discussion at this public hearing. The hearing is open to the public and taxpayers shall have the right to be heard at the public hearing. Any party needing special accommodations for the hearing should contact the Office of the County Commissioners at 812-462-3367 no less than three days prior to the hearing.
