Vigo County Capital Improvement Board

           Notice of Regular Meeting and Public Hearing of the Vigo County Capital Improvement Board of Managers by Remote Participation

The Vigo County Capital Improvement Board of Managers will hold its regular meeting of the Board on Wednesday August 19, 2020 at 9:00 am.  Pursuant to State of Indiana Executive Order 20-09 (the “Order”), members of the Board, staff and the public may participate in the meeting in person or by telephonic or electronic means. Any votes conducted will be by roll call vote.  It is anticipated that some members of the Board and staff will be in the Council Chamber to participate in the meeting as well. Those with media credentials may make arrangements to attend the meeting in person by contacting the Board’s administrative assistant at (812) 201-3186 prior to the meeting.

A public hearing will be conducted by the Board regarding the acceptance of a Lease Proposal submitted by Crossroads Parking Partners, LLC pursuant to the RFP process conducted by the Board under Ind. Code §36-1-11-12 for property located at 686 Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute, IN. A copy of the Crossroad’s Proposal is posted on the County’s website.  Members of the public will be allowed to testify in person at the public hearing and by electronic means if possible.  Questions or testimony may also be submitted up to the time of the public hearing to: tammy.york-allen@vigocounty.in.gov.  Persons attending the meeting in person will be required to remain socially distance from others outside the Council Chamber until their testimony and to exit the Council Chamber following their testimony.  All individuals entering the Vigo County Government Center are required to wear a mask.

In accordance with the Indiana Open Door Law and the Order, media and members of the public are encouraged to observe the meeting electronically by ZOOM© call participation using meeting ID 9894924377#.  No password is required. The meeting will also be live streamed via the Vigo County YouTube Channel which can be accessed on the Vigo County Commissioners’ or Council’s webpages.
