Event Description:

The Personnel Committee of the Vigo County Council will meet on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 3:15 pm in the Council Room located in the Vigo County Government Center, 127 Oak Street, Terre Haute, Indiana to review the following requests:

• Title IV-D Court:  ROC 20-024 - Adjust Pay Rate
• Parks:  New Positions - PT Grant Administrator and PT Maintenance
• Clerk:  New position - Election Director
• Health:  Change current funding from a grant to Property Tax Levy fund - Insurance Billing Clerk
• Commissioners:  Reclassification - Administrative Assistant
• HR:  Adjust rate of compensation for the Coordinator and Director
• IT:  Reclassification - Network Technician to Network Adminstrator
• Jail:  Reclassification  - Correctional Officer to Jail Sergeant
• Sheriff:  Reclassification - Building Security Sgt, New Positions - PT Process Server & Merit Deputy (7)
• Juvenile Center:  Reclassification of Detention Officer to Shift Supervisor (4) and Sergeant to Lieutenant (1)

Per the directive of the Vigo County Commissioners the building is closed to the public due to the COVID-19 virus.  The meeting will be live streamed and archived on the Vigo County YouTube channel and can be accessed here.  Taxpayers will have the opportunity to submit comments to the Council members via email prior to the meeting.  Please include your name, address, and contact information with your comments.  Comments should be sent to county.council@vigocounty.in.gov prior to 2:15pm on Monday, June 22, 2020.
